Crafts Museum I and II- 16th and 22cd December 2015

We enjoyed our visits to the Crafts Museum so much that we ended up going there twice! Crafts Museum is a beautiful place with gorgeous folk art paintings on the walls and a visit to the stalls is a must! Everything about the museum is so special and endearing that its hard to describe it in words. So we thought our sketches would speak for the spirit of the place!

Sketcher of the week II- Jitesh Beriwal

Jitesh Beriwal is an ayurvedic doctor by day and by night, he is busy doing what he loves most- his art. He is an animal lover and has a gorgeous Russian dog at home. So its no surprise to see animals in his work! Here are a few sweet elephant sketches by by the artist. Enjoy!

12th December 2015- Hauz Khas Village monuments and all around-II

In the afternoon, we split up into two member teams and hunted for the signs and images as given in the sketches. The party that was able to find the maximum answers were naturally the winners of the day. It was an enjoyable afternoon as we felt the pulse and energy of the Hauz Khas world through their shops and monuments have made it a regular hangout place.

12th December 2015- Hauz Khas Village monuments and all around-I

Hello again. Its been a long long time since I posted anything in the blog and I should have by now! On 12th November , we went to Hauz Khas Village and sketched the monuments deep inside the village. It was a beautiful day, sunny and bright. And of course, plenty of lovers all over the place :-) We sketched in the morning and in the afternoon, we did a small but intense detective game where we had to spot the images based on the sketches made by the teams. The hunt was designed to get the essence of the Hauz Khas shops and the atmosphere. I even did a quick test with one of the shops by showing the sketches. They declared that they would have to start looking at the images more closely despite having been there for nearly 25 years! It was a great learning process for us and fun filled too.
I have decided to write the post in two parts as there are many pictures which I want to share. In this post, it will contain the sketches by our fellow sketchers. Enjoy them!

Khan Market-25th November 2015

Finally, here are a few pictures from our trip to Khan Market. It was a beautiful day, teeming withpeople, lights and colour. It dazzled with energy, little stories sprouted here and there ; and yet time was too short to do everything on that lovely day!
